Eight real estate attorneys have left Day Pitney to join Fox
Rothschild in New Jersey. Robert Klausner, Deirdre Moore,
Christopher Rider, Grace Shin and Mat Carlson come on board as
partner and are joined by three associates. The team will also
lead a new office in Morristown, New Jersey, to open in summer.
Former Delaware Superior Court judge Peggy Ableman has
joined McCarter & English as special counsel in its product
liability practice group. She will be based in the firm's
Wilmington, Delaware, office.
Robert Guite has left Squire Sanders for Sheppard, Mullin,
Richter & Hampton as partner in San Francisco. He joins the
business trial practice group. Also new to the firm is David
Randall, who leaves Dickstein Shapiro to be partner in the
firm's Los Angeles intellectual property practice group.
Blank Rome has added Leon Barson as partner in its
Philadelphia business restructuring and bankruptcy group. He
moves over from Pepper Hamilton.
Squire Sanders has hired Barbara Alonso as partner in its
Miami office. Previously with Greenberg Traurig, Alonso will be
with the firm's financial services practice group.
Also in Miami, K&L Gates has added Kevin Ross-Andino as
partner in its commercial disputes practice. He was most
recently with Foley & Lardner.
Benefits litigator Charles Seemann III has moved to Jackson
Lewis as partner in New Orleans. He was a member of the Employee
Retirement Income Security Act litigation practice group at
Proskauer Rose.
Chadbourne & Parke has added a new partner to its Kiev,
Ukraine, office. Adam Mycyk moves over from CMS Cameron McKenna,
also in Kiev.
