Feb 5 (Reuters) - Jackson Lewis has added former Foley & Lardner employment lawyer Leila Nourani as a partner in its Los Angeles office, one of three recent moves by employment lawyers in the city.

Nourani has 18 years of experience representing employers in sexual harassment, discrimination, defamation and trade secrets cases, Jackson Lewis said on Tuesday.

Her experience is a "major boost in our quest to provide comprehensive legal services to employers throughout the region," said Lawrence Stone, managing partner of firm's Los Angeles office.

Nourani has litigated complex multiparty cases, qui tam, representative and class actions and has served as the chair of Foley & Lardner's litigation department in Los Angeles from 2008 to 2011.

Jackson Lewis has 750 attorneys in 52 locations nationwide.

On Monday, Foley & Mansfield announced it had hired veteran attorney Louis Klein as of counsel in its Los Angeles office. Klein will expand its national employment law and litigation practice on the West Coast.

Klein ran his own law firm in Westlake, California, before being hired by Foley & Mansfield. Since 1997, he has defended public and private employers in a range of cases involving whistle-blowing retaliation, sexual harassment and discrimination.

Foley & Mansfield represents and counsels small and large private and public employers in state and federal employment issues. It has 130 attorneys working in offices throughout the United States.

Last week, Littler Mendelson added Monica Quinn as a shareholder to its Los Angeles office.

Quinn was previously a partner at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis.

She has litigated and counseled on matters and disputes involving wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment retaliation in state and federal courts.

Littler Mendelson has 950 attorneys working in 56 offices in the United States and around the globe.
