Federal prosecutor Glen McGorty has joined Crowell & Moring as partner in New York. McGorty, who was most recently a senior assistant U.S. attorney in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, joins Crowell's white collar and regulatory enforcement group.

William Bennett III has left Bennett, Giuliano, McDonnell & Perrone for Blank Rome in New York. He will be of counsel in the firm's international and maritime litigation and alternative dispute resolution group.

Former assistant U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, Courtney Gilligan Saleski, has joined the Philadelphia office of DLA Piper as a litigation partner.

In Washington, McDermott Will & Emery has hired two attorneys from Sutherland Asbill & Brennan for its state and local tax practice group. Stephen Kranz moves over as partner and Diann Smith as counsel.

William Greenberg, a partner in the Newark, New Jersey, office of McCarter & English, has been appointed judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims by President Barack Obama.

Dykema has added Daryll Vann Marshall as senior counsel in its corporate finance practice group. He moves over from Kirkland & Ellis and will be based in Chicago.

Edwards Wildman Palmer has added an attorney from Sidley Austin to its Chicago office. Jeffrey Crane has joined the firm's litigation department as partner.

William Kramer has moved from Miller Matthias & Hull to Loeb & Loeb as partner. He will be based in Chicago as part of the firm's patent litigation and counseling practice.

Former Ohio Supreme Court justice Yvette McGee Brown will join Jones Day in the firm's Columbus, Ohio, office. She will be part of the firm's business and tort litigation practice.
