Feb 14 (Reuters) - Jonathan Israel has left Greenberg
Traurig to join Foley & Lardner as a partner in New York. He
moves to the sports industry team and labor and employment
practice.
Sean Dailey has moved from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher &
Flom to Chadbourne & Parke in New York, where he will be counsel
in the firm's private funds group.
Bracewell & Giuliani has hired Richard Farmer as an energy
partner in its New York office. Farmer comes from Fulbright &
Jaworski.
Intellectual property litigator Eric Namrow has joined
Morgan Lewis as partner in Washington, moving over from
O'Melveny & Myers.
Todd Lard, vice president and general counsel at the Council
on State Taxation, rejoins Sutherland Asbill & Brennan as
partner on March 4. He will move to the firm's State and Local
Tax practice in Washington. The firm has also hired three new
associates, two in Washington and one in New York.
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has brought on a new
intellectual property partner. James Soong from Greenberg
Traurig joins the firm's office in Palo Alto, California.
Ute Krudewagen has left Baker & McKenzie to join DLA Piper
as partner. She moves to the labor and employment practice in
Silicon Valley.
Lane Powell has hired Barry Abbott, previously with Arnold &
Porter, as counsel in its Seattle office. He will be with the
business practice group.
In Orlando, Jason Miller leaves Lowndes Drosdick Doster
Kantor & Reed for Roetzel, where he will be partner in the
intellectual property group.
