Dec 6 (Reuters) - Glenn Fox has joined Baker & McKenzie's tax practice as partner. He moves to the firm's New York office from Alston & Bird.

Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo has hired Marty Lorenzo as a member in San Diego. A major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Lorenzo moves over from DLA Piper to join Mintz Levin's corporate and securities section.

Hunton & Williams has added Colleen Doyle and Diana Martin to its environmental law practice group in Los Angeles. Both join from Bingham McCutchen, Doyle as partner and Martin as counsel.

In Seattle, Lane Powell has brought on Claire Loebs Davis as shareholder in its securities litigation practice group. Most recently Davis practiced with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

Labor and employment attorney Sarah Ryan has left Ball Janik to join Jackson Lewis as partner and will be based in the firm's Portland, Oregon, office and will bring with her an associate.

Kevin Francis is leaving Herbert Smith Freehills to join the London office of Debevoise & Plimpton as a partner. He will move to the firm's UK and European litigation practice in January 2013.

Jones Day has added a new partner to its Sydney, Australia, office. Litigator John Emmerig joins the firm from Ashurst Australia, where he was a senior partner and head of the firm's national class actions practice.
