Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi has expanded its antitrust
practice in New York with three new attorneys. Hollis Salzman
joins as partner and co-chair of the antitrust group, Kellie
Lerner will be partner and Bernard Persky joins as of counsel.
All three move over from Labaton Sucharow.
Neil Rust has left White & Case to join McGuire Woods as
partner. He will work in the firm's banking and finance group in
Los Angeles.
In Boston, Morgan Lewis has hired Mark Stein from McDermott
Will & Emery as partner in its business and finance practice.
James Inendino has left Loeb & Loeb to be partner at
Roetzel, where he will be a member of its financial institutions
industry group in Chicago.
Littler Mendelson has a new shareholder in its office in
Charlotte, North Carolina. Jacob Modla was previously vice
president of HR operations and supply chain at Family Dollar
Stores.
Jeffrey Baudier has left his post as president and CEO of
NRG Energy company Petra Nova to be partner at Phelps Dunbar in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Bracewell & Giuliani has hired Jeffrey Andrews as partner in
its technology practice. He joins from Thompson & Knight and
will be based in Houston.
On the international front, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher &
Flom has a new partner in Sao Paulo, where corporate attorney J.
Mathias von Bernuth joins from Shearman & Sterling.
In Mexico City, Ariel Ramos has left White & Case for Haynes
and Boone. Ramos will be partner in its finance practice group.
Also in Mexico City, Jones Day has added Mauricio Llamas as
partner in its government regulation practice. He was previously
a founding partner of boutique firm EnvironLaw.
In Paris, Paul Hastings has hired mergers and acquisitions
and capital markets attorney David Revcolevschi as partner. He
moves over from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Jorg Paura is leaving Hogan Lovells to be partner at Bird &
Bird in Hamburg. He will join the firm's international corporate
group on April 1 and will bring with him two counsel, Daniel
Weiss and Mirjam Ruve.
Jackson Lewis has opened a new office in Puerto Rico with
two attorneys from Schuster Aguilo. Sara Colon-Acevedo joins as
partner and Juan Felipe Santos as of counsel.
White & Case is upping its presence in Indonesia through an
association with MD & Partners, a newly established firm based
in Jakarta.
