Feb 19 (Reuters) - Troutman Sanders has added a group of three attorneys from Greenberg Traurig to its New York office. Jeffrey Rosenthal and Thomas Duignan join the firm's lending and structured finance practice as partners and bring with them an associate.

Douglas Buchanan has moved over to Debevoise & Plimpton as counsel and co-head of the firm's global infrastructure and project finance group in New York. He was most recently a senior partner at Canadian law firm Davis.

Yariv Ben-Ari, formerly an associate at Herrick Feinstein, has joined Morrison Cohen as senior counsel in the firm's real estate department in New York.

James Walther has left Mayer Brown to join the corporate and securities and financial services practices of Arnold & Porter's Los Angeles office. He will be senior counsel.

Kirkland & Ellis has hired two new partners on the West Coast. In the San Francisco office is Michael Ringler, a mergers and acquisitions attorney from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. In Los Angeles, corporate lawyer Rick Madden moves over from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton has lost two partners to Cooley. Ian Smith and C. Thomas Hopkins, former co-chair of Sheppard's corporate practice, have joined the firm's business department in Los Angeles.

In Boston, K&L Gates has added two partners. Mark Johnson joins the firm's corporate securities practice from Cooley and Paulo Marnoto has left Ropes & Gray to join the firm's private equity and find formation practice. They are joined by eight new associates.

Pepper Hamilton has two attorneys who have moved over from Ballard Spahr to its white collar litigation and investigations practice group. Gina Maisto Smith and Leslie Marie Gomez join as partners in Philadelphia.

In Seattle, former attorney general of the state of Washington, Rob McKenna, has joinedOrrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as partner and co-chair of its public policy group.

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz has scooped up two new partners in its Atlanta business department. Joseph Delgado comes on board from Miller & Martin and Michael Haber joins from Smith, Gambrell & Russell.

Troy Terakedis has left Calfee, Halter & Griswold to be partner at Jones Day. He joins the firm's tax practice in Columbus, Ohio.

Anderson Kill & Olick has opened a new office in Burlington, Vermont. Shareholder Marshall Gilinsky will head the new office, which will focus mainly on insurance recovery.
